In the current era of prevalent family atmosphere economy and self-care culture, the global candle market is steadily expanding at a compound annual growth rate of over 5%. From simple lighting tools to exquisite consumer goods that carry emotions and create atmosphere, the birth of a "perfect" candle combines the exquisite balance of material science, chemical technology, and aesthetic design.

How to choose the appropriate wax?

The modern candle manufacturing industry mainly uses four types of wax materials, each with its own unique properties:

·Plant wax: Mainly composed of soy wax, coconut wax, and palm wax, it is the fastest-growing category. Its core advantages are renewability, biodegradability, clean combustion, and long duration. Soy wax is highly favored for its excellent fragrance diffusion ability and is one of the preferred choices for high-end scented candles.

·Beeswax: Natural animal wax that emits a natural honey fragrance when burned, has an extremely long burning time, and is almost smoke-free. It is commonly used in high-end or traditional products.

·Gel wax: petrochemical compound, transparent as crystal, often used to make highly decorative "suspended" visual candles.

·Paraffin wax: a petroleum derivative that accounts for over 70% of the raw material market. The advantages are low cost, strong color and fragrance carrying capacity, and good formability. The limitation is that slight smoke may be generated during combustion, and some environmentally conscious consumers have concerns.

Selection guide: Brands that pursue ultimate fragrance experience and sustainability should choose soy wax blends; The mass-produced products that value cost and color vividness are still mainly refined paraffin wax; Beeswax is positioned in the luxury and natural niche markets.
